RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Bridgeway General Supplies LLC, we stand behind the quality of every JDM engine we supply. Because automotive engines are precision mechanical components that require proper handling, inspection, and professional installation, please review this Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing your order.
ENGINE CONDITION
We sell imported used and refurbished JDM engines.
The condition of each engine is described on the applicable product page before purchase. Customers are encouraged to review all product information carefully and verify compatibility prior to ordering.
IMPORTANT RETURN NOTICE
Returns are accepted only for engines that remain:
- Unused
- Uninstalled
- Unmodified
- Undamaged
- In the same condition in which they were delivered
Any engine that has been:
- Installed
- Started
- Operated
- Test-run
- Modified
- Disassembled
- Repaired
- Altered
- Damaged after delivery
is not eligible for return or refund.
RETURN REQUEST DEADLINE
All return or exchange requests must be submitted within 90 days from the confirmed delivery date provided by the freight carrier.
Requests submitted after this period cannot be accepted.
ELIGIBLE RETURNS
To qualify for a return or exchange:
- The engine must not have been installed or used.
- No repairs, modifications, or alterations may have been performed.
- The engine must remain in its original condition.
- Original packaging, documentation, and included accessories must be returned whenever applicable.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- The engine must not have been damaged while in the customer's possession.
All returns are subject to inspection and approval by Bridgeway General Supplies LLC.
ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Installed engines
- Engines that have been started, operated, or tested
- Modified or disassembled engines
- Custom-order or specially sourced engines
- Products sold "As-Is"
- Core engines
- Parts-only items
- Returns requested after the 90-day return period
EXCHANGES
Eligible products may be exchanged, subject to inspection and approval.
Returned products must satisfy all return eligibility requirements before an exchange can be authorized.
If an identical replacement is unavailable, we may offer an equivalent replacement or an approved refund, at our discretion.
RESTOCKING FEE
Approved non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
This fee helps cover:
- Inspection
- Testing
- Administrative processing
- Repackaging
- Inventory handling
No restocking fee applies to approved returns involving:
- Verified shipping damage
- Confirmed product defects
- Shipping errors caused by Bridgeway General Supplies LLC
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Customers are responsible for return freight costs for approved non-defective returns.
Because engines are shipped via freight carrier, returned products must be:
- Properly palletized
- Securely packaged
- Protected against freight damage
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is approved due to:
- Shipping damage
- Incorrect shipment
- Confirmed product defect

Returns received without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ENGINES
If your engine arrives damaged or you believe it has a manufacturing or shipping defect:
- Inspect the shipment before signing the freight delivery receipt.
- Record any visible damage on the carrier's delivery paperwork.
- Report concealed damage or suspected defects within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide clear photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
Approved shipping damage or verified defect claims are not subject to restocking fees.
Where appropriate, return shipping assistance may be provided for approved defective products.
REFUNDS
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.
Refunds cannot be transferred to another payment method, account, or third party.
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.
Depending on your financial institution, additional processing time may be required before the refund appears in your account.
HOW TO START A RETURN OR EXCHANGE
To request a return or exchange:
- Contact our customer support team.
- Provide your order number and the reason for your request.
- Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Ship the approved return to the address provided.
- Once received and inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed if approved.
